The UnOriginals confirmed for Cellarstock!
Following last year's performance, we have been invited once again to perform at Cellarstock at Cellars Bar in Teignmouth this year on Saturday 30th June. The event is being held to raise money for The Helen Foundation, an arts-based charity which supports and motivates young people in all branches of the arts in Teignbridge, South Devon. There are loads of other great bands playing so please come down and show your support!

2012 off to a flyer!
We’ve been quite busy since we returned from the festive break, adding to our set list and rehearsing in preparation for the many upcoming performances throughout the year. We’ve been receiving a good number of enquiries for bookings resulting in several weddings, parties and another carnival being added to our gig list. We recently performed at what we can definitely say is the oldest venue we have ever performed at – Kents Cavern in Torquay – being 385 million years old! It was a great experience and some photos of the performance will be posted on our Facebook page soon, so keep checking back!

A great end to 2011 - now bring on 2012!
Thanks to everyone who came to our final performance of 2011 at The Kings Arms in Teignmouth - what a great night as always! We'll be back at The Kings Arms in April for a special bank holiday bash! 2012 is already looking busy with various bookings confirmed as well as many enquiries for weddings, private parties and inparticular a special public event with a potential audience size of 10,000! We're hoping to make another trip to the Illicit Recording Studios and we are also busy adding to our set in readiness for next year. What a great Halloween!
Thanks to everyone who came to The Kings Arms in Teignmouth last Friday for a Halloween themed fancy dress party. The venue was full and they even ran out of pint glasses, ice and certain drinks! The various costumes were brilliant and we enjoyed performing in fancy dress too. You'll be pleased to know that we are performing at The Kings Arms again on Saturday 17th December for a special pre-Christmas fancy dress party and it will actually be our last public performance of the year; so make sure you come along! In the meantime we are busy adding to our set in readiness for what is set to be a busy 2012.

We are pleased to have been booked to perform at a wedding at The Friars, Aylesford Priory in Kent on Saturday 17th September. It will be our first show outside of our home county of Devon and we are really looking forward to it! Our most recent wedding clients sent us the following by email:

2 gigs in 1 day!
Saturday just gone (23rd July) saw us perform twice in one day; something we have never done before! Firstly we had the honour of opening Teignmouth Carnival in the afternoon to a large public audience including the town's Mayor! The weather was great as was the audience who seemed to enjoy themselves, especially one lady who has now booked us for her wedding. Later on in the evening we performed at LiveStock, a charity event on a farm in Dawlish on behalf of The Snooky Trust, which helps 18-40 year olds with a physical illness residing in Devon. It was a great one-day festival with some awesome bands and the best audience we have ever played to. It was a great 'rock n roll' moment when the generator packed up causing all the sound and lighting equipment to shut down! Thankfully it was quickly fixed and we were able to finish our set. Photos and video footage from LiveStock will be added to the website and Facebook page shortly, so check back soon!
Next stop is Torbay Carnival on Paignton Green on Friday 29th July - Stage time 5.30pm. See ya then.

Busy times ahead!
Thanks to everyone who attended The Shipwrights in Shaldon last Friday (15th July); what an awesome show! A packed house with plenty of dancing and singing - just what we like! We'll be back at The Shipwrights later in the year so watch this space. Things are getting pretty busy over the summer and we are looking forward to the many upcoming gigs with more still being booked so keep an eye on the gig listings. What a weekend!
Three days, three performances! First up was a 21st birthday party at an old vineyard surrounded by hundreds of bottles of wine! Second was a wonderful wedding with a great audience who didn't want to stop dancing, especially the groom! Lastly, but certainly not least, was a public performance in aid of The Helen Foundation, a very special charity launched as a living memory to Helen Kirk, an actor who tragically died in 2005. The charity is dedicated to supporting the artistic aspirations of young people who live in Teignbridge, South Devon, and we are proud to support it. Annie Kirk, Trustee, sent us a message on Facebook - "I felt so proud of you guys being so professional and so brilliant! Well done for a fantastic, energetic and captivating set!" Thanks Annie, we look forward to supporting The Helen Foundation again in the near future. Please visit the charity's website for further information.

What a night!
Thanks to everyone who came to The Kings Arms on Sunday for our first public performance of the year - what a night it was! We enjoyed performing to you as much as you enjoyed dancing and singing along! You were a very thirsty bunch - the bar ran out of glasses! We'll be back at The Kings Arms later this year for both a Halloween and Christmas party, we hope to see you there! We are off to the recording studio tomorrow for a few days to record several demo tracks so keep checking back as these will be added to the site hopefully sometime next week.
